Can a believer who speaks in Tongues be possessed by evil spirit

A believer who speaks in tongues is one who has RECEIVED the gift of the Holy Spirit and the evidence is the continual speaking in tongues. So can he be possessed of the devil emphatically NO. WHY? man is a container and if he is not born again he or she can be possessed by the devil but as soon as he or she believes he is made right with God and it is not based on his sins or good character but he or she is made righteous by God because of he or she accepting the works of Jesus Christ our Lord Colossians 1 verse 13 after his salvation he is suppose to received the Holy Spirit with the gift of speaking in tongues but alas most Christians think that it is not necessary and that is why most of them suffer afflictions for a long time. The Master describes the Holy Spirit and what will happen when one receives it into his spirit. Acts 1 verses 4 to 8, the Holy Spirit is a gift from our Heavenly father and it is Gods Spirit indwelling in man and the Master describe it as the POWER giver that enables the believer to have power, ability to effect changes and live the supernatural life Acts 2 verse 4. The Holy Spirit is the power giver; the POWER described by the Master is referred in the Greek as DUNAMIS which in English means the dynamic ability to effect changes. When the Holy Spirit comes to dwell in a believer no devil hack out of hell can come into that one, the devil can only attack that one from outside that is why we need Gods word to stand in the evil day

When you study the bible and look at the life that the Master lived you will notice that He took out time to pray all night most times or any time for long hours and when he left the place of prayer miracles happened and He did wonderful things like when he walk on water, it was because He prayed in tongues.  

In reference to Bro Emmanuel Egbara, I believe you mean Judas, yes he was possessed by the devil and later if you study the bible Peter also was possessed of the devil to say those words and Jesus had to rebuke the devil, WHY the disciples where not born again at that time they could only be saved after the Master had gone to the cross and had their sins REMITTED and therefore be made right with God to have their sins FORGIVEN John 20 verses 19 to 23.

REMMISION is different from FORGIVENESS, as children of God we have been made righteous by God because of the washing of the blood of Jesus and that is why he can forgive us when we err or go against His word 1 John 2 verses 1 and 2.

Finally tongues are coded language which is of the Holy Spirit for Gods children to communicate with angelic beings and it is a heavenly language, devils and fallen angels DO NOT SPEAK IT AND CANNOT UNDERSTAND IT.
